Editing the final project

In the editing process, I had really fun editing the pieces together, using everything I had learnt from previous sessions made it very easy and I could work well without needing assistance from the help from class activities. I really like my nightmare one I think it captivates the piece really well and is intriguing and different.

Interview

I interviewed my friend Chloe Apter a student at the University of Sussex studying English. She was a perfect candidate, she gave some great and engaging answers that worked well with the theme of the interview brief. She was great to work with and did actually give me more footage than I needed so it was cut down to fit the project.

Jack Foley

I have always had an interest in Jack Foley due to my brother getting at first at university in the niche area of foley sound, so I have know about him for a long time. I really wanted to incorporate this into my work. Therefore,  I did some research around him, luckily there had already been a class presentation so I was able to use some of the information from that too. As this progressed I decided to great my soundscape using items and objects around my room to create this sense of nightmare; by banging doors, scratching walls, using shoes, using spray cans etc. This was really fun and interesting because I got to experience a different type of sound and try something new.
